Situated on the edge of a small family neighborhood, you'll find this A-frame tucked nicely into the woods on a ridge overlooking the Canyon Creek spur of the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River. As you enter the home, the open beam look with fresh cedar will remind you of a mountain ski chalet. Everything you need to create delicious cuisine, or a craft cocktail. Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, oils, and spices. We almost named this place the "Firepit". Out the backdoor you will leave the world behind and enter a magical place. Totally private, natural landscaping with lush ferns, rock, covered deck with hot tub, pathways through the woods to your firepit that overlooks the cascade foothills, distant river, and wetlands below. The evening may include songs of the thousands of frogs below.

The backyard was extremely private and felt like they had just fenced in some of the forest.

Cabin was absolutely beautiful and is perfect for a weekend getaway. the pictures dont do it justice! would 100% stay here again Pros: - Close to town and nature sites on the mountain loop - Shower has great water pressure and long lasting heat - Extra sheets/blankets - Tall people friendly - Hosts are communicative!! - I have so many more but airbnb has a character limit haha Cons: - No pepper based spices, which can be a con depending on your seasoning preferences - The bed pillows are on the thinner side! - The bathroom is small and is def a tight squeeze if more then one person is trying to use it - The property is in a "trailer park" (more like a former mobile home park that has more houses with detached garages then trailers) We did have the neighbor aggressively confront us and curse about our speed pulling into the driveway (going 5 in a 10 while looking at the sunset is f you speeds apparently) it left us a little uncomfortable but was truly the only negative of our stay

Very charming place- we loved the access to a hot tub and the general layout of the home. The backyard was huge and nicely planted. We weren’t able to use the fire pit due to a burn ban. Nice trails within 20 min. Some improvements we could recommend would be better pots and pans, a fix to the ceiling fan, and a few more towels. Also the hot tub did stain our suits which was disappointing.
