There are two main level bedrooms with a full bath on the main, Upstairs you will find a loft bedroom that is open to the living area and a master full bathroom. Additionally we have laundry, epic views from the great room, dining area, and large furnished west-facing deck with a stellar view of the mountains and lake. Pop open a bottle of wine, gather with friends and family, and enjoy the beautiful view. It doesn't get much better. :) If you're a golfer you can step right onto the course at the 12th hole in your backyard. If you love water sports, we have a great marina with paddle boards, kayaks, and boat rentals available. Mountain bikers and hikers paradise just up the road to Galbraith and Lookout Mountain.

Great eats locally at Tino's (they deliver) and El Agave in Sudden Valley. Also an awesome little store, Valley Market and Deli that stocks just about everything. Drive a little farther and say hi to Sam and Nancy at Milano's in Fairhaven. Maybe grab a few pints at Boundary Bay and Kulshan breweries in Bellingham. Enjoy the many eats and sites of this PNW paradise.

This private estate will relax you as you enjoy our fully stocked home with plush linens. No different in amenities than our other fine Northwestpads experiences, and you will feel right at home here :)

Neighborhood

While staying at Lakeview Lodge, you will be situated in the woodsy Sudden Valley Community right on the edge of the 12th hole of the Golf Course. This area is known as Gate 1 of Sudden Valley, and is right on the lake. It has a friendly & laid-back environment. Lake access to the marina and beach are a walk, bike or short drive away. Additionally, the Sudden Valley Community Center is nearby in Gate 2, which has a pool & fitness center which you can purchase affordable day passes for entry.

Transit

The pleasant community of Sudden Valley is located on the Southwest shore of Lake Whatcom, which is 15 minutes from the city of Bellingham to your West. Heading South from Bellingham will lead you to the historic Fairhaven District and just a bit further South will lead you to the beautiful coastal Chuckanut Mountains which have unrivaled views of the San Juan Islands! There is plenty to explore in the North Puget Sound.

To the Northeast of Sudden Valley is Mount Baker and the North Cascades National Park. On your way to the North Cascades, you'll pass through the best of what Whatcom County has to offer as you ascend to the mountains. The small towns of Maple Falls & Glacier will keep you fueled up as you travel.

Of course, you can take a trip about one hour North on I-5 and head to Vancouver, B.C. and get a big city experience. In between the Bellingham area and the border are plenty of growing communities, such as, Ferndale & Blaine which have plenty to offer as you travel North. This Lakeside retreat is certainly located in an excellent neck of the woods, and you will be able to have an authentic Pacific Northwest experience!

This is a great place for a weekend or longer. We are sure to return. Lots of natural light and a beautiful view and some deer wandering thru the back yard. Clean and well-stocked kitchen helped make meals easy. Wish it was our own home!!

Great place to stay for a vacation, it was a very lovely location and the house felt very cozy. I was able to clean, cook and everything else. The only thing I would suggest for your stay is to bring some pots and pans if you cook often. The only problem I had was that some of the bedroom lights did not work. However, I would still recommend this as a lovely place to stay because of all the amenities and the very accurate images of the house. I got just what I wanted from this place and had an excellent time there. The host was also very responsive and caring, checking in often.
