Notes

We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We made some big upgrades as of March 1st 2024. We also want you to know some specific things prior to you booking our cabin :)

1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions will be available on the app post booking. Use that App for your house manual. All information will be sent to you 2 days prior to your arrival.

2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee of $25 per pup per night. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft. Note: The pet fee is not included in your booking. To cover the cost, It will be added separately when you confirm your reservation as alteration request. Kindly accept it when you can.

3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :)

4) We do recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the fireplace and firepit.

5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions. Also check out Stevens Pass Website, and Washington DOT Stevens Pass Hwy 2 for road conditions.

6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Skykomish Washington.

7) Plan to bring what you need. Closest gas, restaurant, coffee, and bars is 5 minutes to the West in Skykomish Washington. Grocery, firewood, and more options on restaurants is Gold Bar Washington. You should find everything you need there.

8.) New plush couches that are very comfortable March 1st 2024.

9) Our beds are medium plush. That means soft. We have new hotel quality linens as of March 2024.

10) We have cabins right next door that you can see from the front and back of the house. Most cabins are vacation rentals in our neighborhood.

11) You can get your firewood on your way up to the cabin, at the highway 2, Louskis Deli, or the gas station that is 3 minutes away from the cabin.

12) We do not have garbage service here. You will be expected to remove your garbage and all personal items when you depart.

We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)

Great spot, super close to Steven’s Pass. Super cozy with a full kitchen and hot tub. Rare find in the area.

I would 100% recommend this stay to anyone trying to visit Steven’s pass, Leavenworth or just the area. Its location is great, one of the cutest A frames I’ve stayed in, extremely cozy and clean. The host was very helpful and kind and checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. The drive to Leavenworth in winter conditions took no more than an hour which was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and skykomish is an inviting small community. Only like a 20 minute drive to Steven’s pass making it the perfect place to stay to get the most out of your visit to the area. Thank you for an amazing time

Truly an amazing place to get away and refocus on what matters.

Baseboard in living room and downstairs bedroom not enough to keep place warm. Cabin is showing all of its age with flooring degraded, porch, fire pit area. Lighting is a bit tricky, overhead light downstairs bedroom couldn’t figure out how to turn on. Porch lights not on when arriving after dark. Back area, outside light stays on a few seconds only. Appreciated cleanliness of place, and stocked options for coffee and drinks, the kitchen faucet is very loose, like it might fall part. Checked after 9 p.m. instead of between 5 - 7 p.m. Communicated with hosts we’d have a pet, extra $25 and one more guest for a total of 3. The third guest was another $25. Asked about later check out but was told no, 11 a.m. was fixed. Next guests would be there at 4 p.m. Lastly, the tasking for clean up and cleaning fee of $175, I felt was not in good standing with what Airbnb as an organist trying to remedy to continue to attract users. We will skip this place in the future.

If you don’t bring your own firewood, you will sleep in 20 degrees. Host told us the hot tub was down and out for maintenance after accepting our booking rather than messaging us and informing us prior to accepting, like other bnbs have done for my fiance and I in the past. Every drain in the house was backed up and trash was left behind in the trash can upon our arrival. A small and partial refund was issued to us over the hot tub- but only after the host was trying to swap us into another bnb over an hour and a half away. Doesn’t matter how close to Steven’s Pass this was, if you going to fork out over a couple hundred of dollars per night to be close to the mountain I recommend staying anywhere else.

Overall comfortable and rustic. Hot tub on the porch isn't very private - just an open space to the back of the neighbors. The interior has some signs of wear and tear; the sink doesn't drain well, the bathtub/shower drains very slowly, the floor of the kitchen has gaps in it. Otherwise there's a great fireplace, the couches are deep and comfy, and the bed upstairs in the loft is supportive but soft. You can hear road and train noise however if you really listen for it, otherwise the Skykomosh River keeps a nice blanket of white noise over the environs.

I booked this charming A-frame retreat as a surprise getaway for my partner’s birthday. The setting was beautiful and serene, surrounded by nature with lots of nearby hikes to explore. The cabin itself was so cozy, with a comfortable couch and a woodstove that made it feel warm and inviting. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, and dining outside under the stars.
