The main cabin features a queen bedroom on the main level, an upper bedroom with a queen and twin bed, a spacious kitchen, a dining room with a large table, and a large living area. Relax by the firepit, soak in the hot tub, and bask in the beauty of the Sauk River.

Space
We have two cabins on this property. The main one is reservable for groups up to 5 people. If you desire more space for up to 3 more people, you can reserve the other property. We don't rent the smaller cabin separately, that way you have peace during your visit. Let us know what you need :)
Notes
We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please review the following information prior to booking your stay :) 1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions is available on the app :) 2) The main cabin is comfortable for 5 adults, 2 per queen bed and 1 per in the twin. After that plan to be in shared spaces and use ladders. Also note the little cabin is available for an additional $75 per night. It sleeps up to an additional 4 people with 2 in the full bed and 1 in each twin bed. 3) We have ships ladder style stairs to the sleeping loft in the small cabin, and that will pose an access limitation for people with mobility issues. 4) We are NOT DOG FRIENDLY at this property. We have multiple other properties that are dog friendly. 5) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :) 6) We do recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the firepit. Darrington IGA and Arlington Grocery Outlet both have great ready made bundles. 7) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions. 8) Weather forecast for your planning should be Darrington Washington. 9) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is five minutes to the North in Darrington Washington. You should find everything you need there. 10.) Please note that our tiny house is currently available only for larger groups, accommodating five people and above. We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)
House Rules
Our property is equipped with a security camera to ensure everyone's safety. One camera is positioned outside the building, overseeing the main cabin entrance. The other oversees the mini cabin entrance.

I booked this airbnb for me and my two nieces, we really enjoyed our stay! The river is so beautiful and peaceful, and the home is very cozy. We loved the jacuzzi in the evenings after hiking. The house is very close to the little town, and also only a 45 min drive to North Cascades. We were very comfortable and wish we could have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin by the Sauk River near Darrington. The place was immaculate upon our arrival, and the amenities were exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to grill delicious burgers, steaks, and salmon belly with ease. The views were breathtaking, especially the night sky, which was nothing short of extraordinary. The river itself is stunning, with a strong current—though not ideal for diving due to the rocks, it's perfect for relaxing by the shore. The hot tub was pristine, and we had all the linens we could need. Accessing the cabin was seamless, and we would definitely stay here again.

This spot is an amazing find. Neighbors on both sides, but still felt like a private paradise. Everything was spotless and clean. There are many thoughtful amenities, like spices and q-tips. Beware the drinking water. The tap water from all faucets smelt like sulfur and rotten eggs so badly we could smell it from across the room. We come from a rural area with well water, and this was significantly worse than that. When you contact the hosts, you’ll talk to someone different each time. Though response time is always quick, responses were scripted and impersonal. And ultimately, we purchased our own drinking water without a resolution offered from the hosts after mentioning it 2 separate times. The location and river front space is a game changer. We loved listening to river each evening while soaking in the hot tub. The hiking access within a short drive is beautiful. The town has great amenities just a few miles away. All in all, this is a great stay, I would recommend booking it!

This stay was incredible, being right on the river. The convenient location was just a 5 minute drive to the local store and we were close to some hiking trails. The house was truly amazing… my only complaint was the neighbor who wasn’t friendly (but out of the hosts hands). The host was very responsive to messages. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Sauk River Cabins for two nights in late July. We were two families traveling together so it was perfect having the two cabins… the main house and the smaller cabin on property, too. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and close to Darrington (maybe 5 minute drive). A great jumping off point for a visit to the North Cascades. The property was very clean, well kept and equipped, and very comfortable. Hosts were proactive and responsive in communications. Would absolutely stay here again.
