Amenities
Space
This is a cool log home that has everything you need. The couches are comfy, as are the beds. It's rustic in nature, so expect some dating on various aspects. You will love hanging in the living area with the gas fireplace keeping you toasty. The sleeping loft is accessible via standard stairs, and there is a bedroom on the main level if you are mobility challenged. We have a large kitchen with bar area to gather around while you dig into conversation and cooking endeavors. The yard is fenced along the country road and you could easily pitch a few tents or accommodate a decent size gathering for a special occasion. Great place to throw the stick for the dog, or let the kiddos play in the creek. The hot tub is private and ideal for the evening star gazing. The porch is perfect to sit back and dig deep with your peeps. If you venture out from our property, you'll find an easy walkable neighborhood. We actually have miles of gravel roads within walking distance that will put you up on North Mountain. Speaking of North Mountain, that is one premier mountain biking and hiking park right near you. Overlanding and 4x4's enjoy the roads near you. It's a great place to start and end a day of exploring! If the river is calling you, we have many public river access points within a short walk or drive. The river has always been the favorite for locals :)

The hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our stay! We appreciated everything they did for us when there was a hiccup with the hot tub. The only thing I would let other dog owners know is that there is a creek behind the house that is not fenced and during the time we were there the salmon were spawning. Seeing the salmon run was amazing, but a dead salmon was in the creek. Raw salmon can be deadly to dogs, so please keep track of your dogs if the salmon are in the creek! We had a wonderful stay and recommended the location to a friend for a stay! The beds were particularly comfortable, with wonderful down duvets and there was a fully stocked kitchen. We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and I didn't need to bring anything and could cook without a problem. There's even a KitchenAid. We would love to revisit sometime.

Peak cozy, peaceful and private. Makes the list of my favorite AirBnBs. We felt right at home, and the cabin was thoughtful stocked and furnished for an east relaxing weekend. My favorite was waking up to the fire going in the morning.

We’ve stayed at multiple AirBnB’s all over and this was truly one of our favorite stays. I like to cook pretty extensive meals on staycations like this and felt the kitchen was incredibly stocked; happy to see the KitchenAid mixer! We appreciated the warm, inviting, and dog friendly environment. Our girl Bonnie LOVED the dog bed. Great quality sheets and towels and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the games, fireplace and amazingly clean hot tub. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and meeting the neighbors!
