Relish the myriad activities the seasons offer: from gold panning, kayaking, and stargazing off the Rusty Bridge during nights to backcountry skiing and boarding. And as every season has its charm, explore nearby Lake Twenty-Two, Heather Lake, and the majestic Mt. Pilchuck. The quaint community of Verlot, with its general store offers a slice of local life. For broader needs, Granite Falls is just a 20-minute drive. And while we ensure the cabin is equipped with cooking basics, do come prepared for your stay's entirety. Access
The entire home and property are yours to enjoy. Adjacent cabins are nearby, but each has separate parking areas and entrances and is privacy fenced, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. Past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in those cabins. The Verlot Campground, the ranger station, and Heather Creek are just a short walk away. We are located next to the Rusty Bridge and the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)

This cabin is absolutely magical! Welcoming, warm, and in a hiker's paradise. The perfect relaxing get away. As much as I want to selfishly keep this spot a secret, I can't recommend it enough. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the provided amamenities made it easy to unwind, stress free. Beautiful spot. We feel lucky to have stayed here.
