Space

Bask in the embrace of the river and forest panorama from the warmth of a brand-new hot tub, perfect for those chilly evenings. Ignite memories around a covered firepit as the gentle river below sets the tone for tales and laughter. Whether you're rock hounding amidst fall's vibrant tapestry or snowshoeing in a winter dream, this cabin offers endless seasonal adventures.

Relish the myriad activities the seasons offer: from gold panning, kayaking, and stargazing off the Rusty Bridge during nights to backcountry skiing and boarding. And as every season has its charm, explore nearby Lake Twenty-Two, Heather Lake, and the majestic Mt. Pilchuck.

The quaint community of Verlot, with its general store offers a slice of local life. For broader needs, Granite Falls is just a 20-minute drive. And while we ensure the cabin is equipped with cooking basics, do come prepared for your stay's entirety.

Your journey is further enhanced by the vibrant culture of Granite Falls. Dive into the town's spirit with lively bars, intimate tap rooms, aromatic coffee shops, and an array of restaurants capturing the essence of the region.

Access

The entire home and property are yours to enjoy. Adjacent cabins are nearby, but each has separate parking areas and entrances and is privacy fenced, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. Past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in those cabins. The Verlot Campground, the ranger station, and Heather Creek are just a short walk away.

We are located next to the Rusty Bridge and the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)

We both enjoyed our two night stay at this cozy, cute studio cabin. We wanted to enjoy a quick getaway not too far from Seattle. This property fit the bill and was just what we needed. It’s located adjacent to a rusty single lane bridge overlooking the Pilchuck River. The Pilchuck River bank was truly breathtaking and a must see. This property came well stocked with many indoor and outdoor amenities including a private yard complete with a hot tub and fire pit. The staff were very communicative, which was excellent! Our stay was quiet, very relaxing, and fun. We hope to be back in a year, maybe two. ❤️

Perfect outdoor space with direct river access. Loved the hot tub, wish we could’ve used the fire pits (burn ban), spent hours enjoy the river and trails. Kitchen was super stocked and we made many meals!

Beautiful, peaceful location! A small cabin with everything you need for a little getaway. Kitchen was well stocked and the backyard was beautiful. Sadly there was construction in the neighboring yard all day on Sunday so we couldn’t enjoy sitting out in the backyard but the river scenes were lovely too!

Spent an extremely relaxing birthday weekend for my husband here along with our two beasts of burden (Doggo Needalottaluvicus). We went out on a couple hikes and really enjoyed the area, the privacy, and the hot tub. To be honest, I'm hesitant to recommend this place to anyone because I want to make sure it's available next time we want to getaway again. That aside, we'd gladly return!

Beautifully kept Cabin and outside area. Peaceful, cozy, fun. Kitchen was just perfect to cook in. The coffee and coffee pour was great to have. Enjoyed the movie selection. Having a hot tub to come back to after a long day of hiking was awesome!
