Neighborhood
This property is river front on the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River with access right out your back door. You can hike along the rivers edge, or wade and swim when conditions permit. There are also numerous hikes and excursions right from your front door. Lake 22, Mt Pilchuck Fire lookout, Gothic Basin, Mt Dickerman, Heather Lake, Robe trail, Lime Kiln Trail, Heather Lake and the ghost town of Monte Cristo are all in your neighborhood! We are located just down from the Rusty Bridge and on the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)
Notes
We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please review the following information prior to booking your stay :) 1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions will be available on the app post booking. 2) DOGS: If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee of $25 per pup per night. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft. Note: The pet fee is not included in your booking. To cover the cost, It will be added separately when you confirm your reservation as an alteration request. Kindly accept it when you can. 3) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is 15 minutes to the West in Granite Falls Washington. You should find everything you need there. We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)

The Stilly River Haus exudes peaceful quietness and charm, with an outdoor ambiance of the sounds of the rushing river. The cabin is well-appointed with comfy beds! We enjoyed the comfortable and cozy home, prepared delicious meals and took walks in the woods and across the river bridge with our dogs. The cabin was just what we needed for a quiet long weekend to get out of the city. It's nestled in a small community near a campground, but was quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the water and walkable trails to explore nearby. It's a short drive to several great hiking trails in a national forrest. We read other reviews about the yard not being completely fenced in (one side is essentially open) so plan accordingly if you are bringing your dog. All in all this is a total 5 star location and we will likely be back.

Once you arrive you get transported from reality into peacefulness. Cabin was beautiful and more than accommodating for my group. Private hot tub and outdoor grill were great and the river is a couple of steps down. Very private area, kitchen fully stocked for everything you’d need. The ac was a nice feature in the summer too. Thank you for hosting us!
