Access
The entire home and property are yours to enjoy. Adjacent cabins are nearby, but each has separate parking areas and entrances and is privacy fenced, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. Past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in those cabins. The Verlot Campground, the ranger station, and Heather Creek are just a short walk away. We are located next to the Rusty Bridge and the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)

I had a peaceful birthday with my husband and furbaby. The kitchen had everything i needed, the hot tub was lovely, and finally a bath tub my husband could fit in. With all the little touches it felt like home to us. We walked along the river for some beautiful sights and enjoyed beef stew by the fire. We just can't wait to come back next year.

Place was great and accurate as described. Very communicative. Power did go out for a couple hours but the owner came by within 30 min and started a generator and showed us how to work everything. We would recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our pup for a little weekend getaway! The space was so nice, clean, and cozy. The hot tub and fireplace were great and we loved that they were covered as well so we could enjoy it even while it was raining! The location is super close to a bunch of hikes. The hosts were very responsive and easy to reach out to if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay, the place is really nice and there was clearly a lot of thought put into the property. We gave 5 stars for everything but might be good for others with bad backs to know the bed (as of 11/11/24) caved in the middle to the point my husband slept on a sleeping pad the 2nd night. Even still, it was a good trip.

Very cute and cozy. The cabin is adorable and so quaint. Enjoyed that the hot tub can be used rain or shine with the awning over it too! Cannot beat the location. Hosts were excellent and communicative.

We came to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and we absolutely love being in the mountains near the river-we were ready for some R&R, romance, and to decompress and we were able to do all of that. We stayed 5 days/4 nights and only left the cabin once! It was a magical time and the perfect spot for a couple, can’t wait to return!

Very welcoming and thoughtful layout and use of space. We found everything we needed to prepare a lobster dinner(for 2) and everything worked!!! It is deep in the fir/cedar forest of the Cascades, and thoughtfully appointed, carefully laid out, and very comfortable for a senior couple and their canine companion.
